Ragefire Chasm
Defeat Lava Guard Gordoth.
The 'Ragefire Chasm' achievement requires defeating Lava Guard Gordoth inside Ragefire Chasm, a dungeon located within Orgrimmar.
Enter Orgrimmar Safely
Alliance players can enter Orgrimmar via the side entrance near the Southfury River bridge. Follow the road to the first junction, turn left toward the Valley of Wisdom, then hang a right at the path leading to The Cleft of Shadow and head down and in.
Set Difficulty to Normal
Before entering the instance portal, set your dungeon difficulty to Normal or you will be unable to zone in.
Defeat Lava Guard Gordoth
Enter Ragefire Chasm and clear through the dungeon, watching for Troggs, Serpents, and Earth Elementals along the way, then defeat Lava Guard Gordoth to earn the achievement.
Tips
Alliance players who die inside Orgrimmar will resurrect in ghost form at Razor Hill rather than at the graveyard outside the city, making corpse runs lengthy — enter at a high enough level to avoid dying.
Alliance players on the quest 'Fate, Up Against Your Will' can access an instanced version of Orgrimmar and enter Ragefire Chasm from within it, bypassing the need to corpse-walk through the live city.
