Look, I'm Just Trying To Fish Here
Catch 100 fish while in a Nightmare Prey hunt.
Look, I'm Just Trying To Fish Here requires you to catch and loot 100 items while actively on a Nightmare difficulty Prey hunt.
Start a Nightmare Prey Hunt
Select an Eversong Woods Nightmare Prey hunt. Progress the hunt until the final confrontation step, where your Prey's location is revealed — this removes the bleed debuff mechanic tied to Alastor, leaving only add spawns and red circles to deal with.
Fish Near a Sanctuary Zone
Head to at 46.12, 18.28 and fish right on the edge of a Sanctuary zone such as Silvermoon City. Whenever an add spawns or a red circle appears, take two steps into the Sanctuary zone to despawn the threat, then step back out and resume fishing.
Loot Everything You Catch
Loot every single catch, including grey trash items, as all 100 catches count toward the total regardless of item quality — you do not need to fish in pools, open water works fine. When an add does engage you before you can step into the Sanctuary, interrupt it quickly to stop it from disrupting your cast.
Tips
Do not fish in a rested area, as catches there will not increment the achievement counter.
Fishing up grey junk items counts toward the 100 total, so there is no need to seek out fishing pools unless you also want fish for the Kitchen Nightmare achievement.
The counter requires both the fishing cast and the loot action — skipping the loot on any catch means that catch does not count.
