Complete the Dragon Soul raid achievements listed below.

Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider is a meta-achievement requiring you to complete a set of challenge achievements across the Dragon Soul raid, rewarding the Reins of the Twilight Harbinger upon completion.

1

Travel to Dragon Soul

Dragon Soul is located in the Caverns of Time. From Dalaran (Legion), use the center teleporter to reach the basement portal floor and take the Caverns of Time portal, then find Dragon Soul in the northeast of the Caverns of Time hub.

2

Set Heroic Difficulty

Before entering, set the raid to Heroic difficulty (10 or 25 man), as several sub-achievements and all heroic boss kills required for the meta must be completed on Heroic mode.

3

Complete Don't Stand So Close to Me

Defeat the first boss, Morchok, as quickly as possible — this is the straightforward approach needed for this sub-achievement.

4

Complete Taste the Rainbow!

During the Yor'sahj the Unsleeping encounter, stand still and do nothing for several minutes, allowing the boss to summon waves of four blobs of various colors to satisfy this achievement's conditions.

5

Clear Remaining Heroic Bosses

Progress through Heroic Warlord Zon'ozz, Heroic Hagara the Stormbinder, Heroic Warmaster Blackhorn, Heroic Spine of Deathwing, and Heroic Madness of Deathwing — note that difficulty increases significantly from Blackhorn onward, with Madness of Deathwing being harder than Spine of Deathwing.

6

Prioritize Normal Achievements Early

Complete the normal-mode sub-achievements as early as possible across your lockouts to avoid having to use a Heroic Madness of Deathwing kill solely to fulfill remaining achievement criteria.

Tips

  • You can switch back to Normal difficulty after completing the Heroic kills, specifically once you reach Spine of Deathwing and Madness of Deathwing if only normal-mode achievements remain.
