Maybe He'll Get Dizzy...
Defeat the Spine of Deathwing encounter on Normal or Heroic Difficulty after tricking Deathwing into performing the following roll sequence: Left, Right, Left, Right.
Maybe He'll Get Dizzy... is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating the Spine of Deathwing encounter after forcing Deathwing to roll in the sequence Left, Right, Left, Right before finishing the fight.
Enter Dragon Soul Raid
Enter the Dragon Soul raid and reach the Spine of Deathwing encounter. Orient yourself by checking your minimap, which shows the front of Deathwing so you can correctly identify left and right sides.
Kill Three Corruptions First
At the very start of the fight, kill 3 of the 4 Corruption tentacles but leave the fourth alive. Doing the roll sequence at the start is ideal because the normal fight only requires 3 rolls, but the achievement requires 4, so completing it early removes the need to track sides mid-fight.
Stand Left, Trigger Roll
With 3 Corruptions dead, have everyone move to the left side of Deathwing and stand in a tentacle hole. Wait for Deathwing to complete his roll to the left.
Move Right, Trigger Roll
After the left roll completes, move to the right side of Deathwing and stand in a tentacle hole. Wait for Deathwing to complete his roll to the right.
Move Left Again, Trigger Roll
Move back to the left side of Deathwing and stand in a tentacle hole. Wait for Deathwing to complete his roll to the left again.
Move Right, Complete Sequence
Move to the right side of Deathwing and stand in a tentacle hole. Once Deathwing completes this final roll to the right, the Left-Right-Left-Right sequence is fulfilled and the achievement will be granted upon defeating him.
Finish the Boss Normally
With the roll sequence complete, proceed with the rest of the Spine of Deathwing fight using normal mechanics: AOE all Corrupted Bloods, kill the final Corruption tentacle, let an Amalgamation absorb Corrupted Blood and grow, then burn it down. Continue alternating sides before each roll throughout the remainder of the fight to avoid being thrown off Deathwing.
Tips
When soloing this encounter, Deathwing will attempt to roll continuously regardless of where you stand, so strafe back and forth across the middle of his spine to keep controlling his roll direction after the achievement sequence is done.
There is roughly 5 to 10 seconds between the roll warning and the actual roll, giving enough time to reposition to the correct side before each roll triggers.
