Kill 10 Twilight Sparks and then defeat Archbishop Benedictus in Hour of Twilight on Heroic Difficulty.

Eclipse requires killing 10 Twilight Sparks and then defeating Archbishop Benedictus in Hour of Twilight on Heroic difficulty.

1

Enter Hour of Twilight

Set the dungeon to Heroic difficulty and enter Hour of Twilight. Avoid equipping any gear that procs or reflects damage, as this can interfere with the fight.

2

Damage Benedictus to 50%

Attack Archbishop Benedictus until he drops to around 50% health, which triggers his Twilight phase — avoid one-shotting him, as the second phase must occur for the achievement to be possible.

3

Kill 10 Twilight Sparks

Once Benedictus enters his Twilight phase, purple effects fill the room and Twilight Sparks spawn on the outer ring. Some Sparks can be hit from the inner platform with melee, while others require ranged abilities or moving off the platform to reach them. The Twilight phase deals constant area damage that stacks, so move between Sparks efficiently. Kill at least 10 Sparks before finishing the boss.

4

Defeat Archbishop Benedictus

After killing 10 Twilight Sparks, return to Archbishop Benedictus and finish him off to complete the Eclipse achievement.

Tips

  • If running this at a significantly higher level than the dungeon, strip down to a single weapon and one piece of gear to prevent one-shotting Benedictus before his Twilight phase triggers, while retaining enough stamina to survive the constant phase-two damage.

  • The Whole-Body Shrinka' toy does not work in this dungeon and cannot be used as a workaround.
