Heroic: Ultraxion
Defeat Ultraxion in Dragon Soul on Heroic Difficulty.
Heroic: Ultraxion is earned by defeating Ultraxion in Dragon Soul on Heroic difficulty.
Enter Dragon Soul
Enter the Dragon Soul raid and make your way to Ultraxion. At max level you can enter and defeat the boss solo.
Manage Hour of Twilight
On Heroic difficulty, Hour of Twilight must hit at least two players and deals 300,000 damage. Any player hit receives a 2-minute debuff that kills them if they are hit by Hour of Twilight again, so you must rotate which players absorb each cast. Hour of Twilight fires at 0:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00, 3:45, 4:30, 5:15, and 6:00.
Rotate Players Per Cast
Assign pairs of players to each Hour of Twilight cast in sequence, ensuring no player is hit again within 2 minutes of their previous hit. Tanks are reliable repeating slots in the rotation since they can absorb multiple casts spaced far enough apart.
Use Heroism or Time Warp
Ultraxion has 85,000,000 HP on Heroic 10-player and an enrage timer of approximately 6 minutes, requiring strong sustained DPS throughout the fight. Use Bloodlust, Heroism, Time Warp, or Ancient Hysteria strategically — some groups use it immediately after the 6th Hour of Twilight to push through the final phase.
Defeat Ultraxion
Survive all eight Hour of Twilight casts and defeat Ultraxion before the enrage timer expires to earn the achievement.
