Heroic: Yor'sahj the Unsleeping
Defeat Yor'sahj the Unsleeping in Dragon Soul on Heroic Difficulty.
Heroic: Yor'sahj the Unsleeping is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Yor'sahj the Unsleeping in Dragon Soul on Heroic difficulty.
Enter Dragon Soul
Enter the Dragon Soul raid and make your way to Yor'sahj the Unsleeping. At max level you can enter and defeat him solo.
Prioritize Yellow Ooze
When multiple ooze blobs spawn, always kill the Yellow Ooze first to prevent double spawns of Forgotten Ones. If no Yellow Ooze is present, kill the Green Ooze instead.
Handle Black and Green Combos
When Green and Red oozes are active together, position the entire group as close to the boss as possible while maintaining distance from each other to reduce incoming damage. Black ooze is the next priority after Yellow when neither Yellow nor Green is present, as killing it saves both damage dealt to the group and conserves DPS.
Manage Blue Ooze Mana Orbs
When the Blue Ooze is active, do not destroy the first Mana Orb immediately — instead DPS it down to roughly 30% and leave it. When the next orb spawns, resume dealing with them to manage the Mana Void mechanic efficiently.
Split DPS on Boss and Adds
Keep two DPS on Yor'sahj the Unsleeping at all times while the rest of the group focuses the chosen ooze. Only DPS players capable of reliable sustained AoE should deal with Forgotten Ones; all others remain on the boss.
