Complete the following achievements.

Family Battler of Kalimdor requires you to defeat all Kalimdor pet battle trainers across 10 daily resets, rewarding the Moon Darter pet upon completion.

Use a Horde Character

Family Battler of Kalimdor must be completed on a Horde character. Using an Alliance character will result in no daily quests appearing and no option to battle the trainers. Being in a raid group will also prevent progress, so enter the battles solo.

Defeat Zunta in Durotar

Find Zunta at 43.8, 28.8 in Durotar. Zunta uses only two pets, both of common rarity, even when engaged with a full level 25 team.

Defeat Dagra the Fierce in Northern Barrens

Find Dagra the Fierce at 58.6, 53 or 55, 53 in Northern Barrens and defeat her in a pet battle.

Defeat Kela Grimtotem in Thousand Needles

Find Kela Grimtotem at 31.8, 32.8 in Thousand Needles and defeat her in a pet battle.

Defeat Analynn in Ashenvale

Find Analynn at 20.2, 29.6 in Ashenvale. Her pets are Flying, Aquatic, and Critter types.

Repeat for 10 Daily Resets

All trainers are on a daily reset, so completing the full meta-achievement requires a minimum of 10 days of battles. All pets should be at level 25 before engaging the trainers.

Tips

  • For Beast family battles, a team of Infernal Pyreclaw, Zandalari Anklerender, and a Spider (such as Tarachnid Stalker) works across all Kalimdor Beast trainers. Use the Spider to absorb high-damage two-round abilities like Fly, Burrow, and Dragon Breath by swapping it in before those hits land.

  • Bring Battle Pet Bandages to heal pets between fights if needed, reducing downtime across the 13 trainer battles each day.
