Critter Battler of Kalimdor
Defeat the following trainers of Kalimdor with a team of all level 25 Critter pets.
Critter Battler of Kalimdor requires you to defeat a set of Kalimdor pet battle trainers using a full team of level 25 Critter pets.
Understand the Time Gate
As of Patch 12.0.0, each trainer can only be challenged once per day, meaning the achievement takes a minimum of 10 days to complete across all required trainers.
Build Your Critter Team
A reliable general-purpose team is Damp Skrat B/B with Barbed Stinger, Nibble, and Great Sting; Lovebird Hatchling S/S with Alpha Strike, Lovestruck, and Pheromones; and Perky Pug P/S with Bite, Buried Treasure, and Trample. Open with Great Sting on Damp Skrat, then swap to Lovebird to apply Pheromones, cycling both DoT abilities as often as possible and using Lovestruck and Nibble to extend survivability. Bring in Perky Pug to finish off weakened enemies and self-heal.
Defeat Elena Flutterfly
Challenge Elena Flutterfly in Moonglade. Her pets are Magic, Flying, and Dragonkin.
Defeat Stone Cold Trixy
Challenge Stone Cold Trixy in Winterspring. Her pets are Flying, Beast, and Dragonkin.
Defeat Zoltan in Felwood
Challenge Zoltan in Felwood. His pets are Magic, Mechanical, and Magic. If the standard team struggles, swap to Mr. Wiggles with Crouch, Uncanny Luck, and Diseased Bite; Malayan Quilrat with Spiked Skin and Bite; and Skunk with Rake and Flurry.
Defeat Analynn in Ashenvale
Challenge Analynn in Ashenvale. Her pets include Flying, Aquatic, and Critter types.
Defeat Zunta
Challenge Zunta, who uses two pets that remain common rarity even when engaged with a full level 25 team. The standard Critter team handles this fight without issue.
Alternative Team Option
Alpine Hare, Arctic Hare, and Elfin Rabbit using the abilities Dodge, Flurry, and Burrow (slots 2, 2, 1) work as a full alternative team. Open with Dodge, use Flurry once, then Burrow, and repeat this rotation until enemy pets are defeated.
Use a Horde Character
Complete all trainer battles on a Horde character to avoid potential issues with credit not registering toward the achievement.
Tips
The battles reset daily, so plan to visit each trainer on consecutive days to finish within the minimum 10-day window.
Against any trainer using a Bear pet in the backline, lead with Lovebird Hatchling to apply Pheromones first, then immediately use Lovestruck to stun and delay the Bear from entering the fight.
