Raise an Army for the Temple of Five Dawns
Recruit 20 Troops as a Monk.
Raise an Army for the Temple of Five Dawns is a 5-point Monk achievement that rewards the Five Dawns Planning Table décor item for recruiting a total of 20 troops across any of your Monk characters.
Travel to the Order Hall
Cast Zen Pilgrimage to reach the Monk Legion Order Hall quickly, then speak with Tianji, located just to the left of the war table at 53.2, 59.6, to recruit troops. You can also recruit troops from Gin Lai near the training dummies in the same hall.
Recruit and cycle troops
Troops are Unique (5), so you can only hold up to 5 of each type at a time; you must deplete their vitality through missions before you can recruit more. To kill troops quickly, send them on missions featuring the Lethal hazard (green skull icon), and do NOT counter it so the troops lose all vitality and die.
Speed up with Argus troops
If your character has completed Argus questing, purchase 
Krokul Ridgestalker and 
Void-Purged Krokul from NPCs in Krokuun and Eredath respectively for 
150 Order Resources each ( 900 Order Resources for additional purchases each week), or purchase 
Lightforged Bulwark from the Vindicaar. These troops can be bought in batches of up to 7 each, allowing you to send 7 troops to lethal missions simultaneously instead of just 3, completing the achievement in roughly 5–6 logins.
Utilize multiple Monks
This achievement is warbound, meaning every troop recruited on any of your Monk characters counts toward the shared total of 20, so spreading recruitment across multiple Monks can accelerate progress.
Tips
The BfA mission table also grants credit for troop recruits, but the same Unique cap and vitality-drain rules apply — you cannot dismiss troops manually and must run lethal missions to open up recruitment slots.
