Beast Battler of Northrend
Defeat the following trainers of Northrend with a team of all level 25 Beast pets.
Beast Battler of Northrend requires you to defeat specific Northrend pet battle trainers using a team composed entirely of level 25 Beast pets.
Build Your Beast Team
Assemble a team of level 25 Beast pets. A proven setup is Infernal Pyreclaw P/B with Adrenaline Rush, Cleave, and Great Sting; Zandalari Anklerender P/S with Bite, Primal Cry, and Black Claw; and a Tarachnid Stalker or any Spider S/S with Strike, Brittle Webbing, and Spiderling Swarm.
Defeat Major Payne
Use two Infernal Pyreclaws (abilities 2, 1, 1) and a Zandalari Anklerender (PP) with abilities 2, x, 2. Spam AoE with Pyreclaw and whenever you get stunned, swap to your next Zandalari Anklerender. The Anklerender should finish off the bear after applying Black Claw before Pyreclaw falls.
Defeat Nearly Headless Jacob
Any three Beast pets with Flurry can work here. One tested lineup is Scritches (1, x, 1), Worg Pup (2, x, 1), and Frostwolf Pup (2, 1, x). Prioritize the Black Claw plus Hunting Party combo to win the fight.
Defeat Gutretch
Use two Zandalari Anklerenders (PP with abilities 2, 1, 2) and a Zandalari Kneebiter (PP with abilities 2, 2, x). Prioritize the Black Claw plus Hunting Party combo throughout the fight.
Defeat Okrut Dragonwaste
One confirmed team is Bloodthorn Hatchling (2, 2, 2), Baby Stonehide (2, 2, 2), and Alpine Foxling Kit (2, 2, 1). Alternatively, use roughly the same pets and tactics as Major Payne but without swapping pets mid-fight, since Okrut has no stun mechanic to worry about.
Tips
Keep Great Sting active on Infernal Pyreclaw as much as possible and spam Cleave for consistent AoE damage across all Northrend trainer fights.
Use your Spider pet to absorb high-damage two-round abilities such as Fly, Burrow, and Dragon Breath by swapping it in, then follow up with Brittle Webbing and Spiderling Swarm together.
