Defeat the following trainers of Northrend with a team of all level 25 Humanoid pets.

Humanoid Battler of Northrend requires you to defeat the Northrend pet battle trainers using a full team of three level 25 Humanoid pets.

1

Prepare Your Humanoid Team

All three pets in your team must be level 25 Humanoids. One team that works for all battles is Father Winter's Helper (2/1/1 B/B), Winter's Little Helper (2/1/2 B/B), and Grumpling (2/2/1 P/S).

2

Defeat Nearly Headless Jacob

This is one of the more demanding fights due to Spooky Strangler's strategy of applying a damage-over-time effect to your front pet and then swapping it to the backline, where it can hit Humanoid pets for roughly 900 non-crit damage. Use Squirky (1/1/2) as your opener to stun Spooky Strangler, then use a damage ability the following turn. Bring a second pet capable of stunning, such as Sunborne Val'kyr (1/1/2), and use Terky (2/2/1) as your third.

3

Defeat Major Payne

Major Payne is the most challenging trainer in this achievement. Anubisath Idol (2/1/2), Coldlight Surfrunner (2/2/2), and Corefire Imp (1/2/1) can clear this fight, though you will need to swap pets depending on which enemy pet is active. Your Anubisath Idol should land its first Demolish hit against the enemy bear to secure the kill.

4

Account for Daily Reset Limits

As of Patch 12.0.0, Northrend pet battle trainers can only be challenged once per day, which means completing all trainer fights for this achievement takes a minimum of one day per trainer battle if any are missed or failed.

Tips

  • Each Northrend pet battle trainer can only be challenged once per day as of Patch 12.0.0, so failed attempts reset the following day.
