Dragonkin Battler of Northrend
Defeat the following trainers of Northrend with a team of all level 25 Dragonkin pets.
Dragonkin Battler of Northrend requires you to defeat five Northrend pet battle trainers using a full team of three level 25 Dragonkin pets.
Prepare Your Dragonkin Team
All three pets on your team must be level 25 Dragonkin and must be at full health with all three alive before entering each battle, or the win will not count toward the achievement. A reliable team is Nexus Whelpling, Stormborne Whelpling, and Stormie, each with abilities set to slots 1, 2, and 2.
Learn the Core Rotation
Open every fight by casting Arcane Storm and refresh it whenever it expires. Fill the gaps by casting Mana Surge, rotating between your three pets so that Mana Surge always lands on the enemy. Tail Sweep can be used to finish off a low-health enemy pet.
Defeat Beegle Blastfuse
Find Beegle Blastfuse at 28.6, 33.8 and defeat him using the Arcane Storm and Mana Surge rotation.
Defeat Okrut Dragonwaste
Find Okrut Dragonwaste at 59, 77 and defeat him using the Arcane Storm and Mana Surge rotation.
Defeat Major Payne
Find Major Payne at 77.4, 19.6 and defeat him using the Arcane Storm and Mana Surge rotation.
Defeat Gutretch
Find Gutretch at 13.2, 66.8 and defeat him using the Arcane Storm and Mana Surge rotation.
Defeat Nearly Headless Jacob
Find Nearly Headless Jacob at 50.2, 59 — this fight is harder for Dragonkin. Use a Bronze Whelpling with 290 speed or higher as your lead pet to stun Spooky Strangler before it can swap your active pet to the backline to rot. Use Lift-Off on your Bronze Whelpling to dodge the Call Darkness cast from Stitch, avoiding a large burst of damage early in the fight. Bring a Nexus Whelpling for the Arcane Winds and Mana Surge combo, and a Dream Whelpling running Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence, and Emerald Dream. Keep Emerald Presence active and use Emerald Dream to prevent Spooky Strangler from swapping your Dream Whelpling out.
Tips
As of Patch 12.0.0, each Northrend pet battle trainer can only be challenged once per day, so completing all five trainers requires at least one day if you visit them all in a single reset, but missing any trainer means waiting until the next daily reset.
