Win the Darkmoon Deathmatch twelve times and receive a Master Pit Fighter trinket.

Darkmoon Dominator is a 20-point achievement earned by looting twelve Pit Fighter trinkets from the Darkmoon Deathmatch chest and completing the quest each one provides, which also awards the Master Pit Fighter trinket.

1

Learn the Chest Spawn Times

The Darkmoon Deathmatch chest spawns approximately every three hours at the following server times: 00:00, 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00. Arrive at the Darkmoon Deathmatch Arena a few minutes early so you are positioned when the chest spawns.

2

Secure the Chest Against All Opponents

When the chest spawns, you must defeat or outlast any other players attempting to loot it — including players from your own faction. Bringing friends or guildmates to kill and crowd-control opponents dramatically improves your odds, though winning with a group of strangers who share your goal is also viable by coordinating before the event starts.

3

Disable Auto-Loot to Save Time

Turn off auto-loot before opening the chest so you can manually select only the Pit Fighter trinket; the chest will remain available after you close it, which can be useful in contested situations.

4

Reserve Twelve Inventory Slots

Pit Fighter trinkets do not stack, so you must keep a separate inventory slot open for each of the twelve trinkets you collect before turning them in via their associated quests.

5

Complete All Twelve Pit Fighter Quests

After looting each Pit Fighter trinket, complete the quest it provides; once you have done this twelve times, you earn Darkmoon Dominator and receive the Master Pit Fighter trinket.

Tips

  • This achievement is time-gated by the chest's roughly 3-hour spawn cycle, meaning twelve wins require a minimum of approximately 36 hours of real-world time spread across multiple Darkmoon Faire appearances.

  • Expect to attend significantly more than twelve chest spawns before securing twelve wins — many attempts can be lost in the final moments of looting, so budget extra sessions accordingly.
