Ready for Raiding II
Slay the following Lieutenants of Flame in Ragnaros' Reach without getting hit by their special attacks.
Ready for Raiding II requires you to slay the Lieutenants of Flame in Ragnaros' Reach — Cinderweb Queen, Ancient Smoldering Behemoth, and Ancient Firelord — without being hit by their special attacks.
Unlock Strike at the Heart
Complete the druid or warden daily questline up through Calling the Ancients to unlock the final daily quest, Strike at the Heart. Once you reach Strike at the Heart, do not turn it in — hold it so you can return each day to fight a different boss without repeating the full questline.
Complete prerequisite daily quests
Each day, complete quests from Rayne Feathersong (Aggressive Growth or Wisp Away), then Captain Irontree (Burn Victims), then General Taldris Moonfall (Hostile Elements, followed by your choice of Breach in the Defenses, The Dogs of War, The Harder They Fall, or Traitors Return) to reach the Strike at the Heart quest and engage the bosses.
Activate Witherbranch daily
Once on Strike at the Heart, activate Witherbranch (the large tree) each day to engage whichever Lieutenant of Flame is available — the boss rotates daily, so return on separate days to encounter each one.
Defeat Cinderweb Queen
When Cinderweb Queen casts Cinder Web, run away immediately or you will be rooted. Writhing Injection spawns spiders after a few seconds and cannot be avoided, so AoE them down. Neither of these AoE kills counts as failing the achievement.
Defeat Ancient Smoldering Behemoth
Run away from Groundfire as soon as it appears beneath you. When Rain of Flame is cast, interrupt it or run out immediately — its active radius is very large.
Defeat Ancient Firelord
When Flame Spout places a fire pool under your feet, run away before it bursts. Fire Torrent is a directional fire breath — move out of its path immediately.
Tips
If you fail an attempt, wait a few minutes for the boss to respawn and try again without having to reset the questline.
You only need to tag the boss first and be in combat when it dies to receive kill credit — being on the quest or activating Witherbranch yourself is not required if another eligible player starts the event.
