Infernal Ambassadors
Slay the elite invaders of Hyjal in the following ways.
Infernal Ambassadors is a 10-point achievement earned in Hyjal by slaying five elite invaders — Nemesis, Millagazor, Lylagar, Pyrachnis, and Galenges — each under specific conditions tied to their respective daily quests.
Understand the Daily Quest System
Each of the five elite mobs is summoned as part of a random two-part daily quest in Hyjal. Only the daily quests active that day will allow you to summon the corresponding elite, so you may need to return on different days to encounter each one.
Slay Nemesis Safely
When Nemesis begins to erupt during the Punting Season or Echoes of Nemesis quests, run to Tooga and hide under his protective shell to survive the eruption.
Dodge Millagazor's Fire
During the Call the Flock or Wings Aflame quests, Millagazor places patches of fire on the ground beneath you — keep moving continuously to avoid being launched into the air by them.
Avoid Lylagar's Breath
During the Perfecting Your Howl or The Call of the Pack quests, simply move out of the way whenever Lylagar begins casting his breath attack.
Kill Pyrachnis Before Poison Stacks
During the Those Bears Up There or Nature's Blessing quests, use the Emerald only to summon Pyrachnis — never to cleanse the stacking poison his attacks apply — and kill him quickly so the poison does not become a problem.
Wait Out Galenges's Weaken Phase
During the Between the Trees or The Power of Malorne quests, do not kill Galenges immediately when he spawns — wait for the Spirit of Malorne to apply its debuff at least once (which takes roughly 5 to 10 seconds), then finish him off; killing him before the first weaken phase is applied will not grant achievement credit.
Re-summon Mobs If Needed
All five elites can be re-summoned if you miss the achievement condition, and you do not need to be on the corresponding daily quest yourself to earn credit — though being first to tag the mob appears necessary for some of them, so abandoning and reacquiring the relevant quest is a valid fallback if credit is not granted.
Tips
If you are playing at max level and one-shot these elites, all criteria complete automatically except for Galenges — stop all damage after he spawns and wait for the Spirit of Malorne to debuff him at least once before landing the killing blow.
If Galenges is killed during the first weaken phase without a second phase beginning, credit will not be granted — stop damage when he shrinks and resume only after he grows in size again.
