Acknowledge your recognition by /waving at the following NPCs in Sethria's Roost.

Have... Have We Met? is a 10-point achievement earned by /waving at six specific NPCs that appear in Sethria's Roost.

1

Understand NPC Availability

Thassarian can only be spawned as an assistant for Alliance players, and Mankrik can only spawn to assist Horde players, so each faction will /wave at a different set of six NPCs depending on which appear.

2

Watch for Four Guardians

If you receive four Hyjal Protectors instead of one of the elite NPCs, this is intended behavior — abandoning the quest or repeating any steps will not change the outcome for that session.

3

Use NPCScan to Detect NPCs

Add the following NPC IDs to NPCScan so you receive an alert when one is nearby: Linken (52233), Nat Pagle (52244), Mankrik (52238), Hemet Nesingwary (52261), Chromie (52265), and Thassarian (53427). Enable out-of-game sound in your WoW audio options and set NPCScan to unmute in-game sound on detection.

4

Use a Targeting Macro

To avoid manually spamming /wave, create a macro with: /cleartarget, /tar Linken, /tar Nat Pagle, /tar Mankrik, /tar Hemet, /tar Chromie, /tar Thassarian, /stopmacro, /wave — this targets one available NPC at a time and only /waves if a match is found. Remove each NPC from the macro after you have successfully waved at them.

5

Reset NPC Cache if Needed

If previously found NPCs are not appearing despite being in range, delete the file named creature.cache.wdb from your WoW cache folder while the game is closed to reset the NPC cache.

Tips

  • This achievement is difficult to complete because it depends on other players actively doing Molten Front quests to spawn the required NPCs — activity in the area directly affects NPC availability.
