Defeat Baleroc in the Firelands without allowing any member of your raid to suffer Torment more than three times.
Share the Pain requires you to defeat Baleroc in the Firelands without any raid member receiving the Torment debuff more than three times total, regardless of how many stacks they accumulate each time.
Understand the Torment Rule
The achievement tracks how many times a player receives the Torment debuff, not how many stacks they accumulate. A player can receive high stacks during a single Torment application and still qualify, as long as they are exposed to Torment three times or fewer across the entire fight.
Treat This as a DPS Race
Higher DPS reduces the number of crystals that spawn during the fight, which directly lowers how many times players need to receive Torment. Enter the Firelands and focus on burning Baleroc as fast as possible to minimize crystal spawns.
Rotate Crystal Groups Carefully
Organize players into small rotating groups to absorb crystal Torment. Using two players per crystal and calling out crystal numbers helps track how many times each player has been exposed. Abilities like Dispersion can be used to extend a player's crystal tanking duration, reducing how many players need to rotate in.
Tips
The achievement can be obtained even if some DPS players take zero ticks of Torment during the fight, so not every player needs to participate in the crystal rotation.
Running with fewer healers and more DPS accelerates the kill speed, which is the most reliable way to reduce total crystal spawns and limit how often Torment is assigned.
