Heroic: Beth'tilac
Defeat Beth'tilac in Firelands on Heroic Difficulty.
Heroic: Beth'tilac is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Beth'tilac in the Firelands raid on Heroic difficulty.
Set Difficulty to Heroic
Before entering Firelands, set the raid difficulty to Heroic. Even if it appears to already be set to Heroic, re-select it manually — the difficulty can silently revert to Normal upon entering.
Manage the Net Phases
In the first net phase, send 2 DPS players up along with a tank and healer. In all subsequent net phases, only one DPS needs to go up unless your overall damage output allows for two.
Control the Spiderlings
Assign a mobile ranged DPS with strong area-of-effect and slowing capabilities to handle the small spiderlings — a Marksmanship Hunter with slowing talents works well for this role. Designate a backup player to assist if spiderlings get too close.
Defeat Beth'tilac
Enter Firelands and defeat Beth'tilac. She can be soloed at max level — simply progress through Phase 1 and burn her down in Phase 2 before her frenzy stacks become unmanageable.
