Ring Out!
Defeat Daakara in Zul'Aman on Heroic Difficulty without any player leaving the rectangular turquoise stonework inscribed on the floor in the center of his area.
Ring Out! is a 10-point Heroic difficulty achievement earned by defeating Daakara in Zul'Aman without any player stepping outside the rectangular turquoise stonework on the floor during the entire fight.
Pull Daakara Into the Rectangle
Have the tank use a ranged pull to bring Daakara into the center rectangle rather than body pulling, so the group is already in position before the fight begins.
Stay Grouped for Bear or Lynx Phase
During the Bear or Lynx phase, the group stays together in the middle of the rectangle; the three non-tank players hold position to soak Surge without drifting outside the boundary.
Spread Around Rectangle for Dragonhawk Phase
During the Dragonhawk phase, ranged players spread around the perimeter of the rectangle to place their Column of Fire away from others, while the tank keeps Daakara centered so Flame Breath does not hit the full group.
Reposition Immediately After Eagle Phase Cast
During the Eagle phase, each time Daakara finishes casting Sweeping Winds, immediately shift your position within the rectangle, because the vortices target player locations at the end of the cast but do not arrive for roughly a second, giving a brief window to reposition safely inside the boundary.
Kill Eagle Phase Totems Immediately
Destroy any totems that spawn during the Eagle phase as fast as possible, as leaving them up increases pressure that can force players outside the rectangle.
Tips
Kill Daakara before he shapeshifts if possible; multiple players have found that killing him after the shapeshift can cause the achievement to fail to award, while killing him before the shapeshift consistently grants it.
