Needy
Win a need roll on a superior or better item above level 185 by rolling 100.
Needy requires you to win a need roll on a superior (blue) or better item above item level 185 by rolling a perfect 100.
Enter Utgarde Pinnacle
Run regular Utgarde Pinnacle — the bosses drop item level 187 blues, with the final boss dropping two items per kill. Enter solo at max level, defeat the bosses, and roll Need on any blue that drops.
Reset and Repeat
After clearing, reset the instance and run it again until you roll a 100 on a Need roll. You only need one other player in your group for the Need/Greed system to appear, and they do not need to remain online.
Use BoP Trading Window
When running heroics with guildmates, roll Need on everything and trade any items you win to an enchanter within the two-hour Bind on Pickup trading window, so no loot goes to waste while farming for the 100 roll.
Tips
Setting loot to all-Need instead of all-Greed when running heroics with well-geared friends maximizes the number of rolls you get per run, increasing your chances of hitting 100.
