Guild Level 25
Reach guild level 25.
Guild Level 25 is reached by accumulating a total of 845,670,000 guild XP through questing, dungeon bosses, and achievements, which takes a minimum of 136 days if the daily XP cap is reached consistently — though as of patch 5.0.4 all guilds start at the equivalent of level 25 automatically.
Join Any Existing Guild
Since patch 5.0.4, all guilds begin at what was previously considered level 25. Simply join any guild and speak to the guild vendor to access level 25 perks and purchasable items without needing to grind guild XP.
Farm Guild XP Via Questing
If playing on a pre-5.0.4 version of the game, complete quests to earn guild XP — each quest rewards 60,000 guild XP upon completion, and the daily guild XP cap is 6,246,000 XP. XP earned from achievements does not count toward the daily cap, so completing achievements after hitting the cap still contributes to guild progression.
Target High-XP Dungeon Bosses
Enter Lost City of the Tol'vir and defeat High Prophet Barim for double guild XP, enter Shadowfang Keep and defeat Baron Silverlaine for up to quintuple (x5) guild XP depending on which worgen adds are present, and enter Blackwing Descent and defeat the Omnotron Defence System for quadruple (x4) guild XP. Avoid High Priestess Azil in The Stonecore, as that boss gives no guild XP, and in Throne of the Tides only the first boss awards any guild XP.
Tips
In Blackwing Descent, the Omnotron Defence System awards quadruple guild XP, making it one of the most efficient single bosses for guild XP farming.
After hitting the 6,246,000 daily XP cap, shift to completing guild achievements, as achievement XP is not subject to the daily cap and still advances guild level.
