Destroy 20 deployed Siege Engines.

Tol Barad Saboteur requires you to destroy 20 deployed Siege Engines — specifically engines that have been deployed autonomously to attack a tower, not engines with a player still inside or driving around.

1

Understand What Counts

Only Siege Engines that have been deployed count toward this achievement. When a player controlling a Siege Engine uses the 'Deploy Siege Engine' vehicle button while in range of a tower, they are ejected and the engine attacks autonomously — that autonomous engine is what must be destroyed. Killing a Siege Engine before it is deployed, or while a player is still inside it, grants no progress.

2

Set Up Two Characters

You can complete this solo using one character from each faction. If targeting the achievement on your Alliance character, wait until Alliance controls Tol Barad so that Alliance defends and Horde attacks. Park your Horde character near the northern bridge at the entrance before the match begins.

3

Get a Kill to Access Siege Engines

The attacking team's player must secure at least one kill before they are allowed to board a Siege Engine. Use your opposing-faction character to get this kill — killing the other character you control fulfills this requirement.

4

Deploy and Destroy Engines

Once inside a Siege Engine, drive it into range of a standing tower, use the 'Deploy Siege Engine' button to eject yourself and set it to attack autonomously, then switch to your defending character and destroy it for credit. Repeat this process across multiple matches until you reach 20 destroyed deployed engines. Note that once a tower is destroyed, engines can no longer be deployed at that location, so only target standing towers.

Tips

  • Class trials (recommended as mages to skip the tutorial by teleporting out) can be used instead of a leveled alt — create one of each faction, bring both to a tower before the match starts with war mode matching your main, then use them to satisfy the kill requirement and drive engines.

  • Only towers that are still standing can receive deployed Siege Engines, so prioritize keeping at least one tower intact on the defending side if you want to continue farming in the same match.
