Time to Open a Restaurant is a guild achievement requiring 10,000 Cataclysm cooking recipes to be cooked, and progress can be earned by crafting eligible recipes such as Blackened Surprise.
Farm Toughened Flesh
Toughened Flesh, required for Blackened Surprise, drops from Forgemaster Pyrendius in Mount Hyjal at a 57% rate, from Tirisfal Stag in Tirisfal Glades at 51%, from Jungle Serpent in Stranglethorn at 50%, from Marsh Serpent in Uldum at 50%, and from Rabid Hyena in Uldum at 50%.
Cook Blackened Surprise
Use Toughened Flesh to cook Blackened Surprise repeatedly, as this recipe counts toward the 10,000 cook threshold for the achievement.
Use Mage Macro Method
Mages can speed up progress by filling the backpack completely, leaving the first slot of the adjacent bag empty, then using a macro with '/script PickupContainerItem(1, 1) DeleteCursorItem()' followed by '/cast conjure refreshment' — repeatedly activating this casts Conjure Refreshment and credits the achievement with each craft.
Tips
Blackened Surprise is a reliable recipe to spam given the high drop rates of Toughened Flesh from multiple zones.
South Island Iced Tea no longer grants credit as of the February 11 hotfix, and Chocolate Cookies do not count at all — avoid crafting these for achievement progress.
