Got My Mind On My Money
Loot 50,000 gold.
Got My Mind On My Money requires you to personally loot a cumulative total of
50,000 gold on a single character, as this achievement is not account-wide and must be completed on at least one character before any account-wide tracking applies.
Farm Raids For Gold
Enter old raids from Classic, The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, or Cataclysm and defeat bosses — gold looted by all members of your group counts toward your progress, so raiding is the fastest method for accumulating gold toward this achievement.
Solo Heroic 5-Man Dungeons
Heroic 5-man dungeons are a viable option for grinding gold toward this achievement, and running them solo means all looted gold goes entirely to you.
Grind Onslaught Humanoids In Icecrown
On the left side of Icecrown, inside the cave on the island, Onslaught humanoids of the warlock type each drop approximately
1 gold and 20 silver, respawn reliably, and drop cash only, making them a consistent if slower grinding option.
Farm Oracles Daily Quest Mobs
The Mastery of the Crystals daily quest in Northrend involves enemies that drop only cash, are easy to kill at level 80 and above, and respawn constantly, providing a steady stream of gold contributions toward the achievement.
Tips
This achievement is not account-wide — you must reach 50,000 gold looted on a single character first before any account-wide progress begins, so focus all farming on one character.
Bringing fewer players to a raid means each person receives a larger share of the looted gold, so soloing or running with a smaller group increases your individual gold earnings per run.
