Ready, Set, Goat! is a 10-point achievement earned by blasting 12 Billy Goats in under 1 minute using the Billy Goat Blaster or Billy Goat Blaster DX, obtained through a quest chain starting at the goblin camp Fuselight in Badlands.
Complete Prerequisite Quest First
Before picking up the goat quest, accept 'When the Going Gets Tough, Cheat' from the NPC at Fuselight in Badlands at 65, 36. This requires obtaining an Instructor's Rod from an Ogre-Mage Instructor at Camp Kosh, just down the ramp to the north.
Pick Up the Goat Quest
Accept the quest 'It's Goat Time, Baby' from Garyanne Fleezlebop at Fuselight in Badlands at 65, 36. This quest is available at level 45 and up, and completing it rewards 250 reputation with all Steamwheedle Cartel factions.
Track the Achievement
Open your Achievements window, navigate to Quests then Eastern Kingdoms, and track the Ready, Set, Goat! achievement so you can monitor your progress in real time.
Create a Targeting Macro
Create a macro containing '/target Billy Goat' on the first line and '/use Billy Goat Blaster' on the second line, then bind it to a convenient slot on your action bars for rapid use.
Blast 12 Goats Quickly
Mount up and ride around the edges of Fuselight where the Billy Goats roam, spamming your macro to blast 12 goats within 1 minute — the timing is generous enough that this can typically be done with around 30 seconds to spare.
Buy the Blaster DX If Needed
If you do not earn the achievement during the quest, purchase the Billy Goat Blaster DX from Gina Gotgoods at Fuselight at 64, 38 and repeat the blasting run.
Turn In the Quest
After earning the achievement, return to Fuselight and turn in 'It's Goat Time, Baby' to collect your quest rewards.
