Realm First! Illustrious Skinner is awarded to the first player on a realm to reach 525 skill in Skinning after Cataclysm launches.

Having digital download access to Cataclysm lets you log in the moment the expansion unlocks, which is critical since this achievement goes to only one player per realm.
Choose Your Starting Zone
Head to Vashj'ir or Mount Hyjal immediately on launch, as these are the first Cataclysm zones available. If those zones are overcrowded with competing players, consider skinning the packs of Mammoths and Rhinos in Storm Peaks in Northrend as a fallback, since fewer players will be there.
Farm Crabs in Vashj'ir
The crabs in Vashj'ir can be farmed from 450 to 525, and you can skin corpses left behind by other players who are killing but not skinning, effectively leeching kills to speed up your skill gains. Skinning these mobs continues to grant skill-ups even after they turn green around 500 skill.
