Reach Jewelcrafting 524
Level Jewelcrafting to 524 by crafting meta gems, which remain orange through this range and provide consistent skill-ups compared to other recipes.
Craft Fire Prism Last
For the final skill point from 524 to 525, craft a Fire Prism instead of a meta gem recipe, because Fire Prism remains orange at that level while the meta recipe turns green and introduces significant RNG into whether you receive a skill-up.
Account for Draenei Racial
Draenei players have a +10 passive bonus to Jewelcrafting, meaning the achievement tracks base skill only and requires reaching 535 base skill rather than 525; blue quality gem recipes go grey at 515 base skill for Draenei (effectively 525 with the racial bonus), and reaching 525 to 535 requires completing daily quests to earn tokens, then purchasing a meta gem recipe since at 525 base skill only the Fire Prism or meta gem recipes will still grant skill-ups.
Coordinate With Allies
If multiple Jewelcrafters on the same realm want the achievement together, they can group up to avoid competing against each other; once the first player in the group receives the achievement, a one-minute window opens during which other players who also reach 525 skill will also receive the Realm First feat.
Tips
Complete the Jewelcrafting daily quest and obtain a meta gem design before your final push to 525, since you will need it to gain skill points in the 525 range.
If you are Draenei and pushing from 525 to 535 base skill, you need at least 4 daily tokens to purchase one of the meta gem recipes required for skill-ups in that range.
