Engage Vanessa VanCleef within 5 minutes of being inflicted with the Nightmare Elixir in Deadmines on Heroic Difficulty.
Vigorous VanCleef Vindicator is a 10-point Heroic Deadmines achievement earned by engaging Vanessa VanCleef within 5 minutes of receiving the Nightmare Elixir debuff.
Enter Heroic Deadmines
Enter Deadmines on Heroic difficulty and defeat Ripsnarl and Cookie. After Cookie dies, click the letter that appears on the ground nearby to trigger Vanessa VanCleef and receive the Nightmare Elixir, starting the 5-minute timer.
Jump Down Immediately
As soon as you are freed from the cauldron, jump down right away to reach the first boss as quickly as possible before hazards spread.
Kill First Boss
Defeat the first nightmare boss, keeping the tank kiting it away from any frozen spots on the ground.
Defeat Helix
Kill Helix by grouping up and focusing all damage on the boss while ignoring adds; use Heroism or Bloodlust here to burn him down fast.
Navigate Electric Orbs Carefully
Wait for the spinning electric orbs to spawn before moving through that section, then move carefully past them toward the Reaver boss. After the Reaver is dead, roughly 2 minutes should remain on the timer.
Reach and Engage Vanessa
Fight your way back to the ship, avoid fire hazards as they slow your movement considerably, and engage Vanessa VanCleef before the 5-minute timer expires to complete the achievement.

Avoid fire during the nightmare sequence — it slows movement considerably and can cost you the timer.
