Prototype Prodigy
Keep the Prototype Reaper from falling below 90% health at any time before the Foe Reaper 5000 is defeated in Deadmines on Heroic Difficulty.
Prototype Prodigy is a 10-point Heroic Deadmines achievement requiring the Prototype Reaper to stay above 90% health for the entire Foe Reaper 5000 encounter.
Enter Deadmines on Heroic
Enter Deadmines on Heroic difficulty and clear through to the Foe Reaper 5000 area. The Prototype Reaper is immune to fire damage from spawning adds, so the primary threat to its health is the Foe Reaper 5000 itself.
Leave Prototype Reaper Stationary
Do not board or move the Prototype Reaper — leave it at the top of the ramp and do not engage the Foe Reaper 5000 near it, since the Foe Reaper can deal damage to the Prototype Reaper when it enters Overdrive mode.
Pull Foe Reaper Up the Ramp
Pull the Foe Reaper 5000 up and away from the Prototype Reaper's position so the boss never gets close enough to damage it during Overdrive, keeping the Prototype Reaper safely above 90% health.
Defeat Foe Reaper 5000
Nuke the Foe Reaper 5000 down without using the Prototype Reaper at all; at max level this fight can be soloed, and killing the boss on the first attempt without the Prototype Reaper taking any damage completes the achievement.
Tips
Wiping and re-engaging the Foe Reaper 5000 multiple times has been reported to prevent the achievement from firing even with the Prototype Reaper at full health — kill the boss on the first attempt to avoid this.
If using the Prototype Reaper during trash before the boss fight, use the 1-1-2 rotation (Reaper Strike, Reaper Strike, Pressurized Strike) to stunlock trash mobs and prevent the Prototype from taking damage during those pulls.
