Earn a rating of 1500 in either Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz.
First Sergeant is a Rated Battleground achievement that rewards the title 'First Sergeant' upon reaching a personal rating of 1500 in either Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz.
Reach 1500 Rated Rating
Participate in Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz and reach a personal rating of 1500. Your rating changes after each match based on the difference between the enemy team's MMR and your current rating — for example, when enemy MMR matches your rating exactly, a win grants +12 and a loss costs -12 to your personal rating.
Maximize Wins Against Higher MMR
When the enemy MMR exceeds your current rating by 100 or more, wins yield significantly more rating gain, while losses cost less — making games against higher-rated opponents the fastest path to 1500.
Tips
Avoid queuing when likely to face opponents rated 200 below you, as a win in that scenario only grants +6 rating while a loss costs -18, making it a poor risk-to-reward scenario on the climb to 1500.
