Grand Marshal
Earn a rating of 2400 in either Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz.
Grand Marshal requires earning a rating of 2400 in either Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz, rewarding the Grand Marshal title upon completion.
Understand Rating Progression
The 2400 rating threshold grants Grand Marshal, while intermediate milestones along the way include Field Marshal at 2300, Marshal at 2200, Commander at 2100, and Lieutenant Commander at 2000, among others down to Private at 1100.
Learn CR Change Mechanics
Your current rating change per game depends on the difference between enemy matchmaking rating and your current rating: when enemy MMR matches your rating exactly, a win grants +12 and a loss costs -12; when enemy MMR is 100 above your rating, a win grants more and a loss costs less, so queue into teams rated higher than you to maximize rating gains on wins.
Queue Rated Battlegrounds Consistently
Participate in Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz and accumulate wins until your personal rating reaches 2400, at which point the Grand Marshal achievement completes and the title is awarded to your character.
Tips
Intentionally queuing into teams with an MMR 100 or more above your current rating increases your CR gain per win, which accelerates progress toward 2400.
