Earn a rating of 1800 in either Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz.

Knight-Captain is an Alliance PvP achievement that rewards the Knight-Captain title for reaching a rating of 1800 in either Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz.

1

Reach 1800 Rated Rating

Queue for Rated Battlegrounds or Rated Battleground Blitz and reach a personal rating of 1800. Your rating changes each game based on the difference between the enemy team's matchmaking rating and your current rating — for example, when the enemy MMR matches your current rating exactly, a win grants +12 rating and a loss costs -12 rating, while facing teams rated 100 higher than you yields +14 per win and only -11 per loss.

2

Claim the Knight-Captain Title

Once you hit 1800 rating, the Knight-Captain achievement unlocks and the Knight-Captain title becomes available for use in your character's title list. This is the Alliance equivalent of the Horde achievement Legionnaire.

3

Purchase Replica TBC Gear

With the Knight-Captain title earned, you can use your rating standing to purchase Replica armor sets from The Burning Crusade, including the well-known yellow set sometimes called the 'Yellow Banana' suit associated with players like Swifty.

Tips

  • To gain rating efficiently, target queues where the enemy MMR is higher than your current rating — facing opponents rated 100 above you yields +14 on a win versus only -11 on a loss, compared to the neutral +12/-12 at even MMR.
