King of the Mountain
Complete the Twilight's Hammer quest chain in Twilight Highlands up to and including Skullcrusher the Mountain.
King of the Mountain is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Twilight's Hammer quest chain in Twilight Highlands through and including the final boss Skullcrusher the Mountain.
Begin the Twilight Highlands chain
Start with Warchief's Command: Twilight Highlands to open the zone, then work through the sequential quest chains: Ready the Ground Troops, followed by Beating the Market, then Negotiations Terminated, then Dangerous Compassion, and finally Return to the Highlands, which unlocks the portal into Twilight Highlands.
Complete Krazzworks goblin quests
Complete all goblin quests at Krazzworks, including the quests inside the mines, as these are required to unlock the final chain leading to Skullcrusher the Mountain.
Find Rune Ruination quest
If the final chain remains locked after completing the main questlines, locate and complete Rune Ruination, found inside the southern cave in Twilight Highlands — this quest is easy to miss and is a common blocker for this achievement.
Defeat Skullcrusher the Mountain
Attack Skullcrusher while right-clicking the four piles around him to keep them active, and right-click your fallen helpers to revive them; when Skullcrusher knocks you off the mountain, return immediately, resume attacking, and eventually the Dragonmaw squad will arrive to assist — continue the fight until Skullcrusher is defeated.
Tips
After completing more than 95 quests in Twilight Highlands, the final chain can still be locked if Rune Ruination inside the southern cave was skipped.
