Defeat Cho'gall in the Bastion of Twilight before any raid member earns more than 30% Corrupted Blood.
The Abyss Will Gaze Back Into You is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Cho'gall in the Bastion of Twilight without any raid member accumulating more than 30% Corrupted Blood.
Avoid Corruption in Phase One
During the first phase, avoid all abilities from the adds that spawn, and prevent the darkened creations from getting their spells off, as these are the primary sources of Corrupted Blood stacks that will disqualify the achievement.
Stay in Melee Range
Remain in melee range of Cho'gall to avoid being hit by Conversion, which is a significant source of corruption buildup.
Disable Pet Growl and Burn
Turn off pet growl before the fight, then burn Cho'gall down through his final 25% — if no mistakes were made in phase one, you have just over a minute before his unavoidable AoE or summoned tentacles push anyone's corruption past 30%.
Avoid Portals with Debuff
Do not use portals or unsummon pets while the Corrupted Blood debuff is active, as doing so causes problems that can ruin the attempt.
