Elementary
Defeat the Elementium Monstrosity in the Bastion of Twilight while only allowing it to create a single Liquid Ice patch.
Elementary is a Bastion of Twilight raid achievement earned by defeating the Elementium Monstrosity while allowing it to create only a single Liquid Ice patch.
Clear the elemental room
Enter the Bastion of Twilight and clear all wandering elementals from the room before engaging any bosses. Position yourself near the centre of the room, around the edge of the purple area on the floor, and aim to remain in that area throughout the fight.
Defeat Ignacious and Feludius
Pull Ignacious and Feludius in Phase 1, distributing damage as evenly as possible between both bosses while staying near the centre of the room.
Position for Phase 3 pull
Before Phase 3 begins, the tank must be standing in the middle of the room. Position the tank 2 to 3 yards in front of the Elementium Monstrosity rather than directly on top of it, as standing exactly on the boss causes it to move back and spawn 2 ice pools, which fails the achievement.
Hold position and burn boss
Once the Elementium Monstrosity spawns its first Liquid Ice patch, do not move the boss out of it — the ice patch grows over time the longer the boss stands in it, eventually covering the entire room, so burn the Elementium Monstrosity down as fast as possible without repositioning it.
Tips
The lightning in Phase 3 deals significant damage but players can spread out to prevent it from jumping, making it more efficient to stay stationary and maximize damage output rather than repositioning.
