Four Play
Defeat Al'Akir in the Throne of the Four Winds while he is affected by Feedback.
Four Play requires you to defeat Al'Akir in the Throne of the Four Winds while he has the Feedback debuff active, which is applied by killing a Stormling add during phase 2.
Enter and Slow DPS
Enter the Throne of the Four Winds and deal damage to Al'Akir very slowly — use a single weapon hit or reduced gear if needed — until he reaches 80% health and transitions into phase 2.
Wait for Stormling Spawn
Once phase 2 begins, stop dealing damage and wait for Al'Akir to spawn a small lightning add called a Stormling. Note that Stormlings deal AoE damage, so position yourself in the ranged area rather than melee range of the add.
Hold Stormling, Drain Boss HP
Keep the Stormling alive while continuing to slowly damage Al'Akir down to around 40–50% health. Stormlings stop spawning once Al'Akir reaches 30%, so do not let the boss drop below that threshold before you are ready.
Kill Stormling, Nuke Boss
Kill the Stormling just before Al'Akir dies to apply the Feedback debuff to him, then immediately burst Al'Akir down. Feedback lasts 20–30 seconds, so deal as much damage as possible before it expires. At 30% health Al'Akir may shatter the platform, requiring you to fly up and continue the fight in the air.
