Faster Than the Speed of Light is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Vault of Lights within 5 minutes of entering the Halls of Origination on Heroic difficulty.
Enter the Vault of Lights
Enter the Halls of Origination on Heroic difficulty. The 5-minute timer starts the moment Brann opens the door, but the initial role-play sequence consumes approximately 10 seconds, so move immediately once control is returned.
Drag Trogg packs forward
Do not stop to clear Trogg packs individually — drag them along as you engage each lieutenant. Trogg packs respawn very quickly, but a well-executed run can avoid all but the 4 packs located on the stairs.
Defeat all four Elemental Warders
Kill all 4 Elemental Warders in sequence. The Fire Warder is the most dangerous: move away from him immediately when he channels Raging Inferno, and dodge Lava Eruption on the floor, which deals over 40,000 damage.
Open the far door
After all 4 Elemental Warders are dead, the far door opens — this must happen within 5 minutes of Brann opening the initial door to complete the achievement. You have approximately 4 minutes and 50 seconds of active combat time.
