Straw That Broke the Camel's Back is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Earthrager Ptah while mounted on a camel in the Halls of Origination on Heroic difficulty.
Clear Trash Before Mounting
Defeat all remaining trash mobs in the sand before the Earthrager Ptah encounter. Once all trash are dead, mount one of the camels available in the area — you do not need to own a camel mount, as the camels provided in the dungeon count for the achievement.
Engage Ptah While Mounted
With your camel active, engage Earthrager Ptah in the center of the room. The camels grant increased movement speed and the ability to cast while moving, making the fight more manageable.
Avoid Dismounting Abilities
Two of Ptah's abilities will dismount you and fail the achievement: Earth Spike, which appears as a dark dust cloud on the ground during Phase 1, and Quicksand, which appears as a swirling sand graphic and occurs when Ptah splits into two. Move out of both to stay mounted throughout the fight.
Reset If Dismounted Solo
If you lose your camel while soloing, walk down the stairs next to the boss back the way you came — this resets the fight and allows you to mount another camel from the area if any remain.
