Acrocalypse Now
Defeat 20 Frenzied Crocolisks within 10 seconds during the Lockmaw encounter in the Lost City of the Tol'vir on Heroic Difficulty.
Acrocalypse Now requires defeating 20 Frenzied Crocolisks within 10 seconds during the Lockmaw encounter in the Lost City of the Tol'vir on Heroic difficulty.
Enter on Heroic Difficulty
Set the Lost City of the Tol'vir to Heroic difficulty and enter, then head to the Lockmaw encounter.
Mount Up and Kite
When the Frenzied Crocolisks begin spawning in groups of four, mount up and kite them without dealing damage to Lockmaw — a tanky character such as a Blood Death Knight in DPS gear works well for this, riding in circles to accumulate all spawned crocolisks.
Manage Scent of Blood
A random party member will be targeted by Scent of Blood, drawing heavy crocolisk aggro toward them — the kiter or tank can taunt the crocolisks away from that player to keep them grouped.
Watch the Bleed Debuff
The crocolisks apply a stacking bleed debuff, so avoid letting them attack the kiter for too long — keep moving to reduce how many are actively hitting you.
AoE Down All 20
Once the fifth and final group of four crocolisks spawns, bringing the total to 20, stack all crocolisks together and immediately AoE them down — they have low health and die quickly; using a time-extending or haste cooldown such as Time Warp helps ensure all 20 die within the 10-second window.
Tips
A ranged DPS kiting the crocolisks is the safest approach since the stacking bleed debuff becomes dangerous over time if melee hits are taken repeatedly.
Do not damage Lockmaw while kiting — focusing solely on accumulating all five groups of crocolisks before AoEing ensures you have all 20 ready at once.
