Extra Credit Bonus Stage

Enter the Vortex Pinnacle on Heroic difficulty. The achievement is group-wide, meaning any group member collecting an orb counts toward the 5 required, so coordinate with your group to grab them efficiently.

Just after the first trash pull near the entrance, there is an orb sitting just off the ledge to the left — simply fall off the ledge to collect it. A second orb is found near a pillar at the entrance.

After defeating the first boss, check the back of his platform for an orb, and look near the Slipstream behind the first boss to the left for another. A third is located next to the tornado you take to progress — look right and grab it without falling off the platform.

Crossing the bridge toward the second boss Altairus, two orbs are located off to the right side near the two spheres on the bridge — line yourself up with each orb and jump at them to collect them. Destroy the spheres on the bridge first before attempting to grab these orbs.

During the Altairus boss fight, do not kill him immediately — vortexes will spawn around the arena during the fight. Stand in a vortex below each mid-air orb, get lifted up by it, and click the orb. There are two orbs obtainable this way during this fight.

Going up the spiral ramp at Thunder's Rise on the way to Asaad, two orbs are located just off the edge of the ramp — line up and jump at them the same way as the bridge orbs. A third orb is on the way down at Thunder's Rise, requiring use of the stream speed boost to reach it.

The Slipstream at the beginning of the instance will port you past the furthest boss you have already defeated, which significantly reduces travel time through the instance if you need to jump into the abyss to grab orbs on subsequent attempts.
