Crushing Bones and Cracking Skulls
Defeat Rom'ogg Bonecrusher after using his Skullcracker ability to kill 10 Angered Earth elementals in Blackrock Caverns on Heroic Difficulty.
Crushing Bones and Cracking Skulls requires you to defeat Rom'ogg Bonecrusher in Blackrock Caverns on Heroic difficulty after using his Skullcracker ability to kill 10 Angered Earth elementals.
Set Instance to Heroic
Enter Blackrock Caverns and set the difficulty to Heroic before engaging Rom'ogg Bonecrusher. The achievement only counts on Heroic difficulty.
Use Alt to Enable Two-Player Quake Spawns
Rom'ogg spawns 1 Angered Earth elemental per player per Quake cast, so bring at least one other character or account into the instance. With 2 players, each Quake cast spawns 2 Angered Earth elementals.
Unequip Weapon to Control Damage
Unequip your weapon before the fight so your damage output is low enough to keep Rom'ogg above 66% HP while letting him cast Quake multiple times to build up Angered Earth elementals.
Kneel to Take All Quake Hits
Create a macro with /kneel or /sit and spam it throughout the fight — this causes all Quake hits to land, with each hit spawning one Angered Earth elemental per player. Enable enemy health bars in your UI settings to track how many Angered Earth elementals are alive.
Stack 5+ Elementals Before 66%
Let Rom'ogg cast Quake multiple times until you have at least 5 Angered Earth elementals alive, then quickly bring him just below 66% HP. He will cast Skullcracker, killing the elementals. Note that Angered Earth elementals despawn after approximately 60 seconds, so act quickly.
Repeat at 33% HP
After the first Skullcracker at 66% HP, repeat the process — let Rom'ogg cast Quake several more times to build up at least 5 more Angered Earth elementals, then push him below 33% HP to trigger the second Skullcracker and kill the remaining elementals, reaching 10 total.

This achievement cannot be completed solo — Quake only spawns 1 Angered Earth per player, and with only 3 possible Skullcracker targets per cast across 2 uses, the maximum kill count when solo is 6, which falls 4 short of the required 10.
