Heroic: Al'Akir
Defeat Al'Akir in the Throne of the Four Winds on Heroic Difficulty.
Defeat Al'Akir on Heroic Difficulty in the Throne of the Four Winds to earn this achievement and the title Of the Four Winds.
Enter Throne of the Four Winds
Enter the Throne of the Four Winds raid and travel to Al'Akir's chamber.
Manage Ice Storm positioning
On Heroic, Ice Storm can now approach melee range and leaves ice patches on the ground that must be avoided by melee DPS and tanks.
Handle extended Lightning Strikes
Lightning Strike lasts approximately 25 seconds instead of being instant, dealing damage every second to all targets caught within its cone. Move out of the affected area immediately.
Avoid Stormling AoE stacking
Stormlings emit an AoE pulse that increases nature damage taken by 25% for 2 seconds, and this effect stacks. The combined damage from multiple pulses can quickly kill nearby players, so maintain distance from other raid members when hit.
Control DPS during phase transitions
Use slow, controlled DPS throughout the fight. Do not burst damage until Al'Akir throws you into the air, as uncontrolled DPS can cause mechanics to overlap dangerously.
Defeat Al'Akir
Defeat Al'Akir to complete the achievement.
