Defeat Chimaeron in Blackwing Descent on Heroic Difficulty.
Heroic: Chimaeron is earned by defeating Chimaeron in Blackwing Descent on Heroic difficulty.
Enter Blackwing Descent
Enter Blackwing Descent and make your way to Chimaeron. At max level you can enter and defeat the boss solo without a group.
Understand Heroic Differences
Chimaeron has 36.2 million health on Heroic, up from 25.9 million on Normal. There are two key heroic-specific mechanics: Nefarian cancels Feud early (anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds after it starts), causing Chimaeron to melee during Feud phases, and the Bile-O-Tron remains offline until the next Massacre after Feud begins.
Survive Phase 2 Shadow Damage
Once Chimaeron reaches the final 20% of his health, Nefarian applies a raid-wide aura dealing 2,000 unresistable shadow damage per second, making it critical to push through this phase as fast as possible.
