From Hell's Heart I Stab at Thee
Defeat the Whale Shark in Vashj'ir (despite or perhaps because of the fact that he drops no loot).
From Hell's Heart I Stab at Thee is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating the Whale Shark in Vashj'ir, a massive creature that drops no loot whatsoever.
Avoid Melee and Pets
Do not bring tanks, melee DPS, or pets to this fight — the Whale Shark one-shots for anywhere from 500,000 to 1, 500,000 damage, and melee or pets can pull aggro just far enough away from the kiter to cause a reset.
Kite at Correct Range
The kiter must stay within 6 to 20 yards of the Whale Shark at all times, with roughly 15 yards being the recommended distance to give a comfortable margin while keeping aggro.
Group Up With the Kiter
All non-kiting DPS must stay grouped directly with the person kiting — splitting up risks the Whale Shark resetting, and healers should respec to DPS since healing is ineffective against the one-shot mechanics.
Pace Your Damage Output
Only the kiter should maintain full threat; all other DPS should hold back unless perfectly grouped with the kiter, as this is a slow, patient burn fight where controlled damage prevents unwanted aggro pulls.
Tips
Warlocks make an effective kiting class due to the ability to keep multiple DoTs rolling while moving, maintaining consistent threat on the Whale Shark throughout the fight.
See the video guides linked for visual demonstrations of the kiting technique and group positioning.
