Saving for a Rainy Day
Loot 200,000 gold from creatures.
Saving for a Rainy Day requires your guild to loot a cumulative total of
200,000 gold from creatures, with gold looted by any party or raid member counting toward the total.
Farm Raids for Gold
Enter raids from any expansion — Cataclysm, Wrath of the Lich King, The Burning Crusade, or Classic — and defeat bosses, as gold looted by every member of your group counts toward the achievement. The fewer people in your group, the larger each individual member's gold share will be.
Run Heroic Dungeons
Heroic 5-man dungeons also generate gold that counts toward this achievement, and running them with a smaller group means more gold per player.
Loot Zul'Aman Bag of Coins
The Bag of Coins that drops in Zul'Aman can count toward this achievement's gold total, even without directly looting a creature.
Tips
This achievement is a stepping stone in a progression series — completing it leads toward the next threshold achievement, Time to Open a Savings Account, which requires looting 1,000,000 gold.
For most raiding guilds, this achievement will be completed naturally through regular raid activity without dedicated farming.
