Master Archaeologist
Obtain 375 skill points in archaeology.
Master Archaeologist is a 10-point achievement earned by reaching 375 skill points in the Archaeology profession.
Train Archaeology And Begin Digging
Pick up Archaeology and use the Survey ability at dig sites to collect fragments. Each survey awards experience — around 5, 000 XP at level 80, scaling up to roughly 15,000 XP by level 84 (including a 5% guild perk bonus).
Fill Fragments Before Solving
Collect fragments up to the cap before solving an artifact rather than solving it immediately at low counts — solving artifacts at higher skill levels makes progression faster and more efficient.
Fly Between Dig Sites
Dig sites are randomly assigned and no two players share the same sites, so be prepared to fly long distances between zones — for example, from Tanaris all the way to Winterspring and back depending on where your active sites appear.
Unlock Outland At 300
At skill level 300, you can survey dig sites in Outland, opening up a new pool of artifacts and fragment sources to push toward 375.
Optionally Expand Into Northrend
At 375 skill, Northrend dig sites become available. If you plan to spend extended time there, setting your 
Hearthstone to Dalaran puts you closer to many Northrend dig sites and reduces travel time between locations.
Tips
Artifact rewards from each dig site category are random — some players complete the Fossil Raptor mount at skill 100 while others do not see it until skill 450 or beyond.
Night Elf archaeology fragments can yield a bind-on-account robe requiring 100 fragments, which itself grants an achievement upon completion.
