Complete the Cape of Stranglethorn storylines listed below.

Cape of Stranglethorn Quests is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Cape of Stranglethorn storylines, starting at Hardwrench Hideaway and working through Booty Bay and Zul'Gurub.

1

Start at Hardwrench Hideaway

Begin at the Hardwrench Hideaway flight path. Pick up both quests from Sassy Hardwrench — Akiris by the Bundle and If They're Just Going to Leave Them Lying Around — at 56.54, 43.73, then complete them together before turning in.

2

Continue with Chabal's Quests

After the Sassy Hardwrench chain, find Chabal and accept There's Somebody Out There Who Wants It, then take Chabal's quests: Backdoor Dealings, Eliminate the Outcast, and Through the Troll Hole in sequence.

3

Complete Zul'Gurub Storyline

Follow the Zul'Gurub chain by completing High Priestess Jeklik, Plunging Into Zul'Gurub, High Priest Venoxis, and finally The Trolls of Zul'Gurub. Enter the dungeon at max level and defeat the required bosses solo to finish this storyline.

4

Fly Down to Booty Bay

Fly to Booty Bay and find "Sea Wolf" MacKinley. Accept Scaring Shaky, then speak to "Shaky" Phillipe to complete it and return to MacKinley for Kill-Collect. Continue with Captain Hecklebury Smotts for The Captain's Chest, then complete A Giant's Feast and A Dish Best Served. Talk to Linzi Hewstrike at 33.7, 29.1 to continue the Booty Bay chain.

5

Complete the Bottle Quest Chain

Find and complete the bottle quest in Cape of Stranglethorn, which unlocks four additional quests toward the achievement total.

6

Do Gurubashi Arena Quests

Head to the Gurubashi Arena and complete the quests found there, including one quest available inside the Arena itself that is easy to miss — these are required to reach the full quest count for the achievement.

Tips

  • If you are stuck at 59 quests as Horde, check inside the Gurubashi Arena for a quest that is easy to overlook.

  • Check your inventory for any item drops that begin a quest, as some Cape of Stranglethorn quests are started by looted items rather than NPCs.
