Hinterlands Quests
Complete the Hinterlands storylines listed below.
Hinterlands Quests is a 10-point achievement earned by completing the Hinterlands storylines for either Alliance or Horde.
Start Quests at Aerie Peak
Go inside the building near the gryphon master at Aerie Peak. The NPC inside will give you three starting quests to begin the Alliance quest chain.
Follow the Aerie Peak Chain
Complete A Mangy Threat, then Razorbeak Friends, which unlocks Out to the Front, leading you to Stormfeather Outpost and the quests there including The Wicked Revantusk and Snapjaws, Lad!
Complete Highvale Documents Chain
After finishing The Highvale Documents, return to the building where you picked up the Highvale Records — two new quests will appear there, each leading to further quests in the chain.
Resolve Quel'Danil Lodge Phase
If you reach 27/30 and get stuck at Quel'Danil Lodge, leave the phased area entirely and re-enter — the Elves and Draenei will have pushed back the undead, and Gilda Cloudcaller will be visible and offering enough quests to complete the achievement.
Find Elder Torntusk on Horde
Horde players who are stuck at 27/30 should look for Elder Torntusk, who is located on top of a building and easy to miss — use /tar Elder Torntusk to target him quickly and pick up his quests.
