Deep into Deepholm

Begin your journey at the Temple of Earth in Deepholm by picking up the starting quest chain. Alliance characters start with Hero's Call: Deepholm!, while Horde characters start with Warchief's Command: Deepholm!, both leading into The Maelstrom and then Deepholm, Realm of Earth.

Work through the Upper World Pillar Fragment quest tree starting from Whiterock. Progress through quests including Gunship Down, Captain's Log, The Earth Claims All, and Elemental Energy, then continue into Diplomacy First, The Admiral's Cabin, Without a Captain or Crew, All Our Friends Are Dead, Take No Prisoners, On Second Thought Take One Prisoner, Some Spraining to Do, and Return to the Temple of Earth. This chain then branches into Blood of the Earthwarder, Deathwing's Fall, Bleed the Bloodshaper, Question the Slaves, and Maziel's quests.

Do not skip the Twilight Research quest, which counts toward completion. Head to at 69.33, 68.18 in Deepholm — killing the silver slimes or the larger mob in that area triggers the Twilight Research quest. This quest is easy to miss since the area is out of the way of the main quest flow and contributes 3 progress toward loremaster.

Work through the Middle World Pillar Fragment quest tree from Whiterock, starting with Where's Goldmine? and progressing through Something that Burns, Explosive Bonding Compound, Apply and Flash Dry, and Take Him to the Earthcaller. Continue into To Stonehearth's Aid, The Quaking Fields, Elemental Ore, The Axe of Earthly Sundering, One With the Ground, and Bring Down the Avalanche, then into We're Surrounded, Stonefather's Boon, Thunder Stones, Sealing the Way, Fixer Upper, Battlefront Triage, Shatter Them!, and Troggzor the Earthinator.

Work through the Bottom World Pillar Fragment quest tree from Whiterock, starting with The Very Earth Beneath Our Feet and progressing through Crumbling Defenses, On Even Ground, Core of Our Troubles, Imposing Confrontation, Rocky Relations, Unsolid Ground, Loose Stones, Hatred Runs Deep, Violent Gale, Depth of the Depths, A Rock Amongst Many, then into Entrenched, Intervention, and Putting the Pieces Together. Note that A Rock Amongst Many leads to Wayward Child inside the Stonecore dungeon, which you can enter and complete solo at max level.

If you find yourself stuck around 58 out of 125 quests, look for the Close Escort quest at Peak Grindstone, located northwest of Stonehearth up against the crater wall on your map. This quest hub is a significant distance from nearby turn-in points and does not appear on the minimap, making it easy to miss. Completing Close Escort opens up several additional quests at a mini-hub located south of Needlerock on your map.
